The Radiation Protection and Shielding Division of the American Nuclear Society is concerned with radiation protection and shielding aspects of nuclear science and technology -- including interaction of nuclear radiation with materials and biological systems, instruments and techniques for the measurement of nuclear radiation fields, and radiation shield design and evaluation. Our next topical will be RPSD 2010, Las Vegas, NV (18-23 Apr 2010). Our last topical meeting, RPSD 2008 Callaway Gardens, GA, (13-18 Apr 2008) was a great success!
